The beginning of the circular textile chain
T-imex specialises in sorting pre-and post-consumer textiles to extend their lifecycle.
T-imex is an affiliated company of the Erdotex Group
The Erdotex Group consists of several companies specialised in the collection, sorting, and processing of used shoes and textile waste. As one of the Dutch sorting facilities, T-imex plays a central role in the chain, aiming to maximise the value of each garment as efficiently and locally as possible.
Our focus:
-
Increasing reusability
- Reducing waste
- Promoting circular solutions
The process
Every day, we process tens of thousands of kilos of collected textiles. Through an efficient sorting process, each item is assessed for quality, reusability, and material type.
The material is divided into several main categories
Pre-sorting
Within each main category, the quality of each garment is individually assessed
Fine sorting
The final products are packed according to requirements, in bales, bags or boxes.
